Description: |
The Township of Wilmot is seeking masonry services from a professional, qualified,
and reputable masonry contractor with experience in historical masonry works to
propose and execute restorations of the masonry components at the New Hamburg Carnegie Library, located at 145 Huron Street, New Hamburg, ON. A preliminary site meeting has been scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2022 @ 10:00am. This meeting will provide the opportunity for bidding contractors to complete a preliminary assessment of the masonry components at the library. As the library is a two-storey building, please ensure estimators are prepared with ladders, binoculars, or other means to assess the second-storey masonry components. No mechanical elevating equipment will be permitted for quotation purposes. The library is a public building and therefore, bidding contractors interested in conducting an independent preliminary assessment on an alternate date/time will be required to schedule their assessment when the library is closed to ensure their assessment does not interfere with the library’s standard operations. |
